How paying works
Three things to know before you pay
A secure Stripe page
The button opens Stripe’s own checkout. Card details go to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.
A receipt by email
Stripe emails a receipt the moment the payment clears, and we send a confirmation of our own alongside it.
Nothing recurring
This is a single payment. It sets up no subscription and changes nothing about the monthly plan, which is billed on its own.
Questions about the build fee
01Is this a subscription?
No. The build fee is a single $797 payment, taken once. It creates no subscription and nothing repeats. The monthly plan is a separate subscription, paid when the plan is ordered, and paying this fee does not change it.
02Do we need to pay this?
Only if we have told you a build fee is due. On a normal build it is invoiced after the site is live and approved. Plans started on or before December 31, 2026 have the build fee waived, so a firm that started by then owes nothing here. If you are not sure, contact us before paying and we will check the account.
03Why is the amount the same on every plan?
Because the build is the same on every plan. Every FirmWebStudio site gets the same page architecture, the same migration and the same launch checks. The plans differ in what runs after launch, the AI Engine and the Content Engine, and that difference is in the monthly fee, not here.
04Which plan button should we press?
The one for the plan the firm is on. The amount is identical on all three; the plan is recorded with the payment so it can be matched to the right account.
05Is paying here safe?
Yes. Payment is taken on Stripe’s own secure checkout page, which handles the card details directly. We never see or store the full card number.
06Can the build fee be refunded?
All sales are final, and the one-time build fee is not refunded once it has been paid. The only exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge reported within 30 days, which is refunded to the original payment method. The refund policy sets this out in full.
