Our commitment
FirmWebStudio wants firmwebstudio.com to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, voice control or reduced motion settings. We build the site with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and WCAG 2.2 AA in mind.
Conformance target
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We describe this as a target rather than a certified status: the site has not been audited by an independent third party.
What we do
- Text and interface colors are chosen in pairs and checked for contrast in both light and dark mode.
- Every page has one main heading, a logical heading order and a skip link to the main content.
- Navigation, carousels, accordions and forms work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Every overlay has a visible close control, and motion is reduced or removed when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative effects are hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields have visible labels, and inputs are sized so phones do not zoom unexpectedly.
- The accessibility panel lets you enlarge text, raise contrast, highlight links and reduce motion.
Known limitations
Some pages embed third-party content, such as a booking calendar or payment form, that we do not control. If one of these causes a barrier, tell us and we will offer another way to complete the same task, by email or by phone call arranged by email.
Report a problem
If anything on this site is hard to use, email hello@firmwebstudio.com with the page address and what happened. A person replies within one working day and we treat accessibility reports as priority fixes.
